In addition, the following is a list of documents and information we will need in order to assist you:

  • Originals of all Wills and Codicils.
  • Originals of all Trust and Amendments established by decedent.
  • Copies of any Trust of which decedent was a trustee or beneficiary at the time of death.
  • Most recent statements for all mutual fund and stock brokerage accounts. Copies of statements on a monthly basis.
  • Decedent's personal income tax return for the 3 years prior to death.
  • Copies of all gift, estate and/or generation-skipping transfer tax returns filed by the decedent or decedent's spouse in the past.
  • Copy of the decedent's Form 706.
  • Copies of all subtrusts' Form 1041s for the last 3 years.
  • Any other documents that you believe may be important to our understanding of the decedent's personal and financial affairs.
